What is the Hult Prize?
The Hult Prize, also known as the “Nobel Prize for Students”, was founded in 2010 by Ahmad Ashkar and funded by former US President Bill Clinton, EF Education First founder Bertil Hult and his family. The Hult Prize is an annual, year-long competition that takes as its theme one of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals and seeks solutions to that goal throughout the year through entrepreneurial ideas created by university students, and donates US$1 million to the winning social enterprise.
